[02:08] wobblefluff: Richard: I suppose.... *Tucks a hand into his pocket, the other brushing some hair away from her face*
[02:50] lollipopatrixxx: Kit: ah. well. I have a job for you..if you want it of course.
[02:50] wobblefluff: Richard: Oh?... Well.. I could use another client...
[02:51] lollipopatrixxx: Kit: hey, you keep me happy, I keep coming back. This isn't a bed job though. Well. *she grins* not completely. I need an escort...a date and a guard. You came to mind.
[02:55] wobblefluff: Richard: Ah... I see... *Smiles* Well, I'd be delighted to be your guard.
[03:00] lollipopatrixxx: She bit her lip. "There is a slight risk of some...ruckus. That's why I'd like you there. A slim chance, but..."
[03:03] wobblefluff: Richard shrugged, leaning in to press a kiss to her forehead. "I'd be more than happy to accompany you. And I'd rather not see you hurt as well."
[03:18] lollipopatrixxx: She wondered if he meant that..or if he was pretending to care just like she did with some odf her clients. She didn't mean to..but she wrapped a hand around his neck and leaned into him. "Thank you." she whispered.
[03:20] wobblefluff: "You're welcome." He smiled, pressing his nose against her temple briefly. Kit held a small, special place in his affections, and as much as he tried to keep work and emotions separate, it was very, very hard to do so when it came to her.
[03:37] lollipopatrixxx: She let herself lean into him..just a bit more. This was stupid. It was insane and immature and she ought to know better. Just because he felt so much like Ashe...just because he was strong and good...but he wasn't Ashe. And just like Ashe...he didn't love her. She was only hurting them both by letting her emotions be confused. Kit went to pull away but pain was stark on her face.
[03:40] wobblefluff: Richard held her gently, wondering what was wrong. It wasn't like her to be so affectionate, especially considering he wasn't one of her... clients, strictly speaking. He looked down, opening his mouth to ask her when he caught sight of her expression. His lips closed silently, and he held her tighter instead. A long moment passed before he leaned closer, capturing her lips with his in a soft kiss.
[03:43] lollipopatrixxx: She hadn't expected him to tug her back into his arms. Why had he done it? She wasn't one of his...well. Not exactly. And either way she'd always made clear she wasn't paying for affection or even an illusion of it. And yet...when he kissed her it was...comforting. Sweet. Kit let her eyes close and just for a moment imagined she was someone else. Someone who could do this..
[03:44] wobblefluff: He took his time, pressing his lips against hers, parting them to taste her. His eyes slid close as well as he held her even tighter, lifting her a little in order to deepen the kiss.
[03:48] lollipopatrixxx: She'd been planning to pull away. Somehow Kit found that she just kept kissing him..and it was so good. He taste like the last meal he'd eaten..the sharp tang of garlic so often used to cover anything a bit off and some pungent alcohol. By the time the kiss ended she was a bit out of breath almost. She blinked slowly.
[03:51] wobblefluff: Richard sighed as he pulled away to give her some room to breathe, fingers tracing over Kit's cheek. "Are you all right?" He asked quietly, concern so evident in his eyes.
[03:56] lollipopatrixxx: She shook her head quickly. "Yes..yes of course. I'm fine. You?" She felt like a stupid teenage girl again. What happened to her professionalism?
[04:00] wobblefluff: "Of course." He chuckled, reaching over to ruffle her hair, letting his fingers catch on the soft strands. "So when do you need me to be your bodyguard, hm?"
[04:10] lollipopatrixxx: "Next tuesday. Afternoon until...well. Might as well make it an overnight if all goes as I'm hoping." she winked. "I will have to work for some of that time but..the event is pretty post. You can entertain yourself."
[04:11] wobblefluff: "Sounds good." Richard grinned to himself. A night who wouldn't forget, for sure.
[04:19] lollipopatrixxx: "I thought you might like a chance to rub shoulders with fancy types." she laughed. "Likely to be a few govvers there, even. You'll pick up some business if you play it right."
[04:20] wobblefluff: His interest perked up at that. "Oh, of course. That sounds... excellent. Just excellent."
[04:24] lollipopatrixxx: Aha! She thought he would like that...after all he was very popular with bored wives wanting to 'slum it' a little. She poked him in the stomach to tease him. "Maybe I should get a finders fee...knowing you."
[04:26] wobblefluff: He gave her an offended expression, placing a hand over his heart. "Now Kitten... you wouldn't rob an innocent, hard-working man like myself, would you?"
[04:29] lollipopatrixxx: "Rob?" now it was her turn to raise her eyebrows. "Getting you into a fancy to-do and then leaving you to have some fun? Ha! Let's not forget I'm paying you, which is what I call unfar."i
[04:29] wobblefluff: Richard chuckled. "I'd be by your side the whole time, just to... ensure your safety."
[04:31] lollipopatrixxx: "mm. Well as much fun as I expect to have for at least some of that I'll be on the job. I'm afraid it wouldn't look good for you to come along for that part." she grinned to tease him and tugged on one of his curls.
[04:32] wobblefluff: "What if something happens while you're in there? I have to be ready for anything right?" He grinned, purposefully licking his lips in a cheeky manner.
[04:42] lollipopatrixxx: "What are you going to do..hide in a closet?" she teased. Even if he teased her she couldn't help but love it.
[04:44] wobblefluff: Richard chuckled, kissing the tip of her nose. "Perhaps. I will do whatever is necessary!"
[04:46] lollipopatrixxx: "Except for come with me on this job." she insisted byt tipped her face to catch his lips. "You'll have the rest of the evening with me...and the night if all goes well. Unless you abandon me for some new housewife." she joked. Hey it was possible..and times were hard so it wasn't like she could blame him.

[05:20] wobblefluff: He grinned. "I won't leave you on the night, don't worry kitten." His fingers combed through her hair gently. "I'm afraid they'll have to wait for another time when I am not so... busy."

[05:21] lollipopatrixxx: She purred at his pet name for her. In a second she was sensible again though. "No no. I'll keep you until the end of the event..say ten? If you get work take it. If you don't..." a soft smile. "Well. I'll make sure you're compensated.
[05:22] wobblefluff: I was asked to go out to talk to my aunt who came to visit us

[05:22] wobblefluff: Richard laughed, drawing his fingertips down her cheek and under her chin to tilt her face up for a soft peck on her lips. "We'll see. Maybe I'd just like to have you for the evening, since you promised me..."

[05:27] lollipopatrixxx: She was serious for a second. "Richard.....we both know I can't pay you as well as some of those women. Likely steady work, too. If you get work...take it. I'm not going anywhere." she promised. But then she was done talking about serious things and snuggled up close to him. "I can't say the thought of a night with you isn't nice...it's not often you can get away from the kids for a whole night."
[05:30] wobblefluff: He watched her carefully, before shrugging as casually as he could manage. "Kitten.... Sometimes work gets in the way, don't you think? I can always get numbers...." His lips quirked up slightly at her, and he held her tight against his chest once again. "True. That is very true... Just as its hard to tear you away from your clients."
[05:37] lollipopatrixxx: "That isn't hard at all, lately. Things have been slow." she didn't want to admit it..because she still did better money wise than him. She bit her lip. "That's why I need this event to go well." she signed. "As far as work...I don't mind it wen it comes to you. I want you to get work. Want to *help* you get it...when I can. You do so much good...you help others..."
[05:44] wobblefluff: Richard smiled. "It doesn't matter to me..... You know I do this because I want to... Right Kitten?"
[05:45] wobblefluff: (sorry, phone rang so short response >_< )
[05:46] lollipopatrixxx: She raised an eyebrow. She did believe he enjoyed their time together..but they were the same. Just because it might be true didn't mean he wouldn't still say it if he hated the sight of her. Kit gave a bittersweet smile. "oh, you're good." she sighed. "Very good."

[05:47] wobblefluff: He chuckled. "Not as good as you." Richard glanced at his wrist where his watch used to be, trying to hide the tiny bitter twist of his lips.
[05:49] lollipopatrixxx: She was smiling when she followed his eyes. He'd had a pretty nice watch...a gift from one of his ladies she assumed. Her brow furrowed. "Your watch." Had it gotten stolen...or had he had to pawn it? That made him insisting it wasn't about the money even stranger. Then again she knew Richard had a weird sense of pride sometimes. Quickly Kit pulled up the watch she wore around her neck. "Almost three."
[05:52] wobblefluff: "Must have left it at home." He gave her a reassuring smile at best, nodding. "Thank you kindly." Richard raised an eyebrow at her. "Don't you have somewhere oyu need to be?"
[05:59] lollipopatrixxx: There he went...distant and friendly again. Kit told herself it was for the best...for her and likely for both of them. "Oh. Yes..probably. I'll let you get back to...to...yes."
[06:00] wobblefluff: Richard almost felt a tiny twinge of disappointment. He pasted a grin on his face, nodding. "Yes... you shouldn't lose any... clients on my behalf either."
[06:05] lollipopatrixxx: "Don't worry about that." she assured him cooly and tucked her watch back into her bodice. She pulled the sarong back over her shoulder and picked up her bag. "Oh - For Tuesday...I was thinking our usual, plus...five? If I get finder's fee we can work that out afterward."
[06:05] wobblefluff: It sounded fair. "We can discuss it then, but that sounds good to me." He chuckled, "In any case.... Do you want me to wear a tux?"
[06:13] lollipopatrixxx: "No no." she laughed. "I'll be renting you a suit. Ah! That reminds me." Kit dug her voda out of her bag and keyed in a few things before holding it up with the front panel facing Richard. There was a faint whirring and a few clicks before a thin blue line of light moved over him from head to toe and back again. Another click and the scanner beeped. Kit gave a satisfied nod and snapped the panel shut. "Wouldn't want to get there without your measurements."
[06:14] wobblefluff: Richard laughed. "Of course not. I wouldn't want to go looking like a stuffed panda or something." He winked. "I hope you approve of my measurements." His finger clenched a little, and he flexed his arms to show off his muscles to her.
[06:15] lollipopatrixxx: ((one of my FAVE things about frac is how like...some tech is way advanced and other stuff not...at all. lol)

[06:17] lollipopatrixxx: She laughed to and gave his biceps an admiring squeeze. "I certainly do!" It was true. He was muscular and solid and that was so nice...there was a comforting solidness to him. "Can you take the train in? I can meet you somewhere on the Aqua Vitae line."

[06:18] wobblefluff: "Of course." He chuckled wrapping that arm around her to pull her close for another kiss.

[06:20] lollipopatrixxx: She wasn't going to deny him that kiss. Not a chance! Kit mmmed against his mouth as she enjoyed the earthy smell of him. She was smiling as she pulled away and slung her bag over her shoulder. "I'll post you the details."
[06:21] wobblefluff: He tipped his head. "Very well kitten. Stay safe until I get to protect you, hm?" His tongue drew over his lips to capture the last sweet taste of her. "I will look forward to it." Richard finally managed a bright smile that wasn't false, tucking his hands into his pockets.
[06:25] lollipopatrixxx: She left him there and made it to the train just as the first drops pattered down onto her reddened hair. The rocking of the train car made her think over the whole thing..and by the time she got to her dinner appointment...sure enough she was smiling again.
