Jumps up and down

 okay - mixed emotions right now. It looks like the 2ic in my department is leaving. and she is leaving some rather large shoes to fill. Part of me wants them to come to me & say - 'here's more money do you want the job?'  as it would validate all the hard work i do here. The other part of me is like hiding under the desk and hoping they don't ask
