Last time it hit 80 in Portland? October 8, 2010. It has been 8 months of below average temps. A friend of mine that is originally from Kansas is moving back. There are a few reasons, but this 8 months of November weather pushed her over the edge.

Hey, give our weather back! South of you, we're going to have your weather this weekend - cold and rainy. It is not supposed to rain in June in California!

Of course, "our weather" has been AWOL starting with last summer. And with my being close enough to the coast, I've usually been missing out on any mild warming intervals too.

The Sun is gone. We squandered it the one day it was here. Its back down to the mid 50s again. Fun while it lasted.
