I have been saying for years that I wish government would get out of the marriage business! Civil Unions for all! Glad you joined the bandwagon ;).

...but I think more likely is "I and my church don't recognize your marriage because you are two men and therefore cannot effectively symbolize the mystery of Christ and his Church." ;)

exactly. Marriage is a word laden too much emotion to be useful to the state.
