Last night I watched the first half of I Heart Huckabees, then fell asleep and dreamed that I was a writer of environmental poetry. A few points about this post:
1) the film fest sounds fun
2) I'm so proud of you for volunteering and being an active part of your community!
3) I did not go to Mardi Gras with you guys. In fact, my first-ever NOLA Mardi Gras experience was this year. :)

i just got an email from Angie today saying that it is amazing to see how much progress is made in NOLA everyday. Not what the news wants you to hear- the bastards.

I figured the orange dogs flooded. I have always imagined that street when I think of the storm there.
