Knit, Knit, Knit 1 Behind Purl

HI all!
Well, it's Friday night how are you guys? What a wild week at work for me...it ended up nice though... My boss let us off early and we all met at a local restaurant to have a relaxing cocktail...and also to wish a co-worker good luck at a new job she was accepting.

Other stuff:

I wanted to post this video of me trying to knit this pattern ( Read more... )

YES!! perfection! So how do you like the pattern? I think what you have so far looks great. Nice video as well :-)

I am so happy that you are feeling so much better. Here's to a new year of good health and adventure of the non-medical kind.

Hi Kris!
I like the pattern a lot! What I like about it is that it lays really flat and has that slight bit of a ribbing look to it. You'd laugh if you heard me though...I have to mumble under my breath the stitches as I do them, to make sure I don't miss one. ;)

Hi Lilly, Hi Lilly, Hi Lo ! LOL! Do you remember that song from the old movie "Lilly" ?

Thanks to inspiration from you, this non-knitter has started a scarf done in Dalmation wool (white w. black bobble thingies), so I'll be doing that this w.end, along with riding my horse, and maybe have a swim tomorrow, if the weather's nice. In-between it's the dreary household maintenance, like hang new curtains etc...
Maybe your broken washing machine will be a good excuse to have the laundry done by someone else for a week or so ? Hint-hint...:)

Glad to inspire you to knit a scarf :) That sounds like the same type of yarn my Mom decided to use for a scarf she was making. I don't think her's was wool though.

Our house is still a disaster from me moving things all around. I think its gonna be a long process :(

The thing I am running out of by not having a washing machine is ((towels)) I can hand wash other stuff, but towels are just too big etc. I told Kip we had to stop taking showers ;) (jk)

well, this weekend we are going to an all night St Patrick's day party...followed by the parade the next day....apparently it's a big deal here in Jim Thorpe, they close off the main street and there are scads of bagpipes and green people eveywhere....I'm looking forward to it, although we may not make it through the all nighter...lol

Oh, and I'll probably make some banana bread out of the three extremely ripe bananas I have. I hate wasting food.

Can you use the same recipe for cookies that you use for banana bread?
