Back 2 Drawing (UPDATED!)

Mar 12, 2007 11:51

Well, folks...I have FINALLY put down my knitting for awhile and have started to work again on my large drawing. I got a bit more done on it Saturday, before leaving for a birthday party for my cousin. I hope to really concentrate on it this week.

I heard from my college art teacher last night. It was sure a nice surprise! :)

I know i havn't been around much. All those little ones at my house are keeping me SO BUISY. they are crate trained now and are going to thier new homes on frieday after the final visit to the vet. I am excited and sad all at the same time. all but 2 have homes. and I am hoping that the mommie that comes over tomarrow will be taking one of those. than it is all up to the pharmasist on weather or not he wants the last one. if so good. if not.. than I will have to put her int he paper. But all will be well ( ... )

Your drawing is stunning, Lori. BTW, my reply to your pvt mail came back rejected :(. Your pc doesn't like my pc...;).
What are you using to add colour, like in that blue tail thingie...pastel ? I love the rhythms in your designs, it might sound strange, but my mind sometimes interprets visual things as sounds/music when I look at a painting or pattern...your work has a lot of freshness and energy to it, but it's always harmonious :)

I've been looking at quilt fabrics and a lot of them remind me of your drawings...have you ever considered selling some designs to them for printing ? Sherril Kahn of impressmenow.com has done some that way...Check out the blabs under your previous blog, I left a link there to some fun fabrics....

Hi Lori,
thanks for checking out my blog.
Love your drawing (as usual). Isn't this weather we've been having wonderful?!?

Love contacts! anonymous March 14 2007, 18:24:06 UTC
I used to wear contacts all the time but now, i'm just lazy. The dailies were the best, they just FEEL better! I even got a pair of coloured ones for fun after I was an old hand at putting them in and taking them out and stuff.
I've been thinking about trying them again...
you never get smoke in your eyes at cookouts or bonfires :0)
The new drawing is GREAT!
