WHO: Ludwig and Roderich
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon (August 5th)
WHERE: Roderich's house in New Brampton.
WHAT: There was a spider web!

A week. No, less than a week. It had been less than a week ago that he had exchanged numbers with Roderich Edelstein, a man that had somehow managed to stay his friend over the years, no matter how distantly (although their homelands shared a border), or coincidentally (like, say, managing to run into each other in the States at university) or reluctantly. Ludwig, however, had been living in Liberty for the past few years - sitting rather unhappily on his business degree at that, and currently dreading having to pick out bikinis for models on Euforia shoots on Friday - and now, so was Roderich. He would have called it fate if he believed in that sort of thing, or that the Austrian was stalking him, but he didn't believe in that sort of thing either, even if it seemed that the man was going to march down to Ludwig's office if he failed to keep in touch with him this time around.

Roderich, as it turned out, appeared to be a fan of text messaging: he sent them so often that Ludwig was beginning to suspect that the other man didn't actually have a job, since he seemed to spend a lot of his time on the internet to boot. And, upon discovering that the German had a day-off, insisted that he come over soon - now! - to help him clear a horrible web out of the ceiling corner.

Ludwig cast him a dark look as he easily caught the dusty web on a broom, shaking it (and its annoyed spider) out into a dustpan. "I forgot that you hated spiders," he commented dryly. "But I didn't think you actually meant you wanted me to come down here to..." He lifted the dustpan up to Roderich. "... clean webs."

man up!, status: complete, there's this thing called murphy's law, can you feel teh ghey tonight?, austria, germany
