Who: Lucy and fem!Co
When: Friday 30th July
Where: Lucy-Marie's residence
What: This week has been full of stress and bad luck, so let's wrap it up with a Girl's Night In!
Rating: PG-13? Drinking. Sexy Dancing. Accidental? yuri
Lucy-Marie spent almost the entire day preparing for the party- she wasn't sure how many girls were coming, or if any were even coming at all- but she had tried! And damn if blogging wasn't hard. At least she might meet a few new friends, and that was definately needed. After all, who better to complain about guys to than to other girls? Sure, Loto and Moon had been nice enough- Alfred even would probably listen to her (being the 'sassy gay friend' he was). But nothing was better than just hanging out with other girls who knew exactly what you were talking about and would even help complain with you!
The first thing she set about doing was rearranging everything in her small apartment.
In her
living room she moved over the coffee table to the far wall, finding herself extremely happy that her parents had replaced the old tile and exchanged it for carpet. Tile would definately not do well for sleepovers, that she was sure of. She had run to the store and for once in her life ventured into the general 'women's' area and managed to pick out a few pretty colours of
nail polish and managed to even find a
book about those hair braids that Valen had talked about.
After finishing in one room, she set about the
kitchen encountering a bit of a problem. Lucy-Marie could barely boil water- much less cook for people! This wasn't good, definately not good- but after a while of worrying and nail-biting, she took off down to the market again and found the perfect solution- premade
fruit trays,
sushi,
popcorn and
chips along with whatever else she could fit that was already made. She could at least work a mircowave after all.
It was starting to get late (well, alright, maybe just around five or six, but still late!) and she pondered about the music situation. Her laptop had music- she had already taken out her dad's few instruments and set them carefully aside- where had that radio gone? Managing to find it stowed away in the hall closet, she carried it over to the table and set it down, bring out her laptop as well and flopping down on the couch.
Oy. That was a pain. But it would be worth it! She tapped along the flat keys and soon a song was filling the apartment, Luce humming along.
Whenever I see someone
Less fortunate than I
(And let's face it - who isn't
Less fortunate than I?)
My tender heart
Tends to start to bleed
And when someone needs a makeover
I simply have to take over
I know I know exactly what they need
And even in your case
Tho' it's the toughest case I've yet to face
Don't worry - I'm determined to succeed
Follow my lead
And yes, indeed
