Who: Sadiq (Turkey), Gupta (Egypt) and anyone else that was to join in
When: Friday, September 10th, sunset
Where: Along the side of a road
What: In which Sadiq finds Gupta with his head in a bush and his legs sticking out of it.
It probably wasn't the weirdest thing to happen in a bustling city like Liberty, but it certainly wasn't a common sight. Sticking out of a large holly bush against the edge of the sidewalk was a pair of thin legs dressed in dark, skinny jeans and white sneakers. It wasn't immediately apparent if they belonged to a girl or a boy, but from the way the legs occasionally shifted or pushed against the ground, it was certain that said person wasn't dead or in desperate need of help.
Gupta was actually quite happy in the bush. He didn't like having twigs or leaves in his hair, but those minor discomforts paled in comparison to the beautiful snake that weaved in and out of the branches in front of his face. He held as still as he could, only occasionally shifting so he could see where the snake was going and if it had any plans of coming closer. The snake was thin and small, with a speckled white-black back and a bright yellow belly.
It wasn't the most beautiful species Gupta had ever seen, but he was fascinated nonetheless. The snakes in Egypt tended to be stocky, brown-colored and so venomously that children often fled at the sight of one. The snakes in North America came in a variety of sizes and were far more colorful than their desert-and-rock cousins. He knew enough about snakes to recognize this one was a harmless species, which only made him lean in closer. The snake eventually curled around a branch and fixed him with black, unblinking eyes. Gupta held his breath and reached forward with one hand, hoping that he would at least be able to hold the creature before it left.
