It was a nice Sunday evening. Nice for Chai at least, for it was a rather warm night. Despite having run into a rather sticky situation not too long ago along some dark alley, he felt that the weather was nice enough to risk dinner outside. He had a restaurant in mind, the Dos Llamas, a nice Mexican joint from what he heard. It was a place he had been meaning to try but had never quite found the time to actually visit.
He smiled as he thought of the possible things he could have for dinner. Chai had a soft spot for Mexican cuisine especially with the more spicier dishes. He walked, stretching his arms above his head. It seemed as if nothing could go wrong this evening.
Alas, it was too good to be true. A warm Sunday evening gave many other citizens of Liberty a good reason to eat out tonight as well. There was a crowd outside the Dos Llamas. Chai had known it was a popular joint but the size of the crowd surprised him. Possible waiting time standing in line after that many people could range from twenty minutes to over an hour. He couldn't quite tell the exact amount of people in line. He gave up trying to count.
Chai stood in contemplation. It was a nice evening and he was craving Mexican food. However the queue was long and he debated with the idea of going elsewhere. It would be a rather long walk. He was hungry. Chai watched through the windows enviously enjoying their food. Hearing the main door open, Chai turned to be hit with the the smell of food wafted from the open doors as customers exited. Well, Dos Llamas it is.
Approaching a girl dressed as a waitress who was apparently dealing with some reservations, Chai asked, "Excuse me but how long do you think the wait will be?" As he glanced inside, he spotted what he thought was a 'free table', unaware of the blond man sitting there just out of sight.
