Who: Sindre, Willem and Ludwig When: April 22, Sunday Where: the park What: The three's chance meeting causes Willem and Sindre to get an idea for a rather mean-spirited game.
It was one of Willem's luckier days, when beautiful weather coincided with his night off. To celebrate, he'd grabbed Pochi and the football and headed out to the park for a bit of a workout.
Once there he found the open bit of they usually played at, unclipped Pochi's leash. He held the ball up in one hand, kept Pochi's attention on it while he tossed the leash at the base of a handy tree. Then he dropped the ball, grabbed it away from the dog with his feet, and the game of keep away began.
He zigzagged back and forth, smiling at the excited yips as the dog chased after the ball with his tail wagging. He outright laughed as the dog jumped for a fakeout, only to roll when he missed. Pochi had been an unexpected bonus in the greatness that was dating Kiku, and Willem was glad to have him around.
He grabbed the ball and stepped back for a second, grinning when Pochi crouched low and eyed him with eyes bright with excitement, then he took off towards the tree line with Pochi barking at his heels.
ooc: ...and a response. Jeez, sorry it took so long.
Ludwig looked up at the sound of a dog barking. Even though it was a common occurrence to see dogs in the park, he was still happy to see them. One day, when he had the money and the room, he would get a dog of his own. Until then, he had to be satisfied with watching other people play with theirs.
...the owner of that dog looked awfully familiar, though. Ludwig looked a little closer.
"Willem...?" he asked himself, then a little louder, he called, "Willem, is that you?"
However, the young man seemed a little too far away to hear him...
Focused as he was, Sindre heard nothing as he reached the critical moment of his spell. Just then, something crashed into him, destroying his concentration. A loud noise, right in his ear, further disoriented, and he pulled himself together just in time to watch in horror as the spell centered on Kiku's dog.
The pair zigged and zagged across the grass, enjoying themselves in the mostly empty park. A sudden noise startled the Dutchman, causing him to loose concentration and kick the ball wide. The dog gave an excited yelp, running into the trees after it with his curly tail wagging as hard as it could. Figuring he'd be alright for the moment the Dutchman turned towards the source of the noise, annoyance fading when he realized who it was.
Sindre pushed at the now-purple dog trying to lick his face, wanting to get a good look at the spell that had entangled it. Any other dog, he probably would have left it and let the own try to figure that one out. But he knew this dog, and he knew Kiku or Wilm couldn't be too far behind. He had to fix it before one of them--
The sound of approaching feet caught his attention, and he looked up to see Wilm and Ludwig approaching.

So the park would have to do.
Distantly, he heard a dog--or maybe dogs--but he tried to push the sounds to the back of his mind. Distractions would not help.
With a deep exhale, Sindre closed his eyes to focus on the magic.
