Indeed-- though I attribute some of that to my work schedule. With Camp's internet and cell phone networks down, I'm forced to find some other method of production.
It appears to be an unresolved, camp-wide issue. At the very least, I would have liked our cell phones to remain online-- we cannot contact the outside world, but at least we can contact each other in the event of an emergency.
I suppose, given the right materials I might be able to make some two-way handheld transceivers... but I'm not certain if they're anywhere available in Camp.
Correct. Even for a simplified civilian-model, I would still need the right hardware; I may have enough wiring, but I don't have speakers or antennae at my immediate disposal.
However, here tends to be a high turnover rate of laptops... it's possible someone may have a spare lying around that they are no longer using-- a laptop speaker might just work.
