How I failed NaNoWriMo

This is my fourth year Wrimoing, and I won in all the years prior to this one. But this year I lost, and I can't explain exactly why. I can make excuses: my Smokie puppy died in the last week of November, and I spent at least a week (some time before she died I knew it was coming so I was already feeling sad) mourning. I was too depressed to touch
