If it helps, I meant you to sympathize with both sides. Obviously, I think Draco is more in the wrong, because he was the one who tried to reduce Harry to his scars and their relationship to the sole issue of whether he hid the scars or not. But both of them have some things to learn. Harry starts to give up on Draco in the next chapter, but he really does it too soon.
And you're right, Harry can't run away, so he has to live with it. He's still bitter sometimes, and he envies Ginny, who was also scarred but has found someone who loves her in spite of this.
And thank you!

Now Draco... it's I think in character for him, but I still want to smack him. Especially this speech - “Harry, do you know how hard it’s been for me in the past weeks, since you were captured? First I had to fear that you were dead. Then I heard you were rescued, and I wasn’t even able to help with that. Then I heard you were wounded, but no one would tell me how bad it was. And the end of all that uncertainty was learning that you look-like this-and you refuse to honor even my request to repair it.” - Draco keeps going on about how hard it was for him, but he never stops and thinks how hard it was for Harry, what Harry had had to go through. That Harry probably needed Draco so much right then, to accept him and love him despite his disfigurement, and yet Draco can't get over how hard it is for himself.
I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm very interested to see where this goes. :

To be fair, Draco was so shocked that he started thinking that Harry's physical suffering was less than his mental suffering. But it's not really excusable, even if it's understandable. Harry will try to forgive it, but his friends (reasonably) protest against that, and Harry has to wonder if he's not devaluing himself.

I imagine you'll work him through a process of realizing that he should have been grateful Harry returned at all- but for now it makes me want to poke Draco with a sharp stick.

And yes, he'll get there. A large part of the reason has to do with him realizing that he could have hired any group of Metal-Dancers, and Harry could have gone anywhere else- even sent his workers without himself.

I really loved the crafting scene, I could picture Harry with the metal and all. I can't wait for more ^^
