This was absolutely beautiful, and the ending:

"Our son just found us sleeping together and ran off to cause trouble"

Perfect.

Thank you!

Though it's far from the only reason he stayed, Harry is attracted to Draco's having a son. He does want a family.

OMG, that whole passage about living with pain rather than using painkillers sounds so much like my husband...

And yay for Draco's breakthru!

Hee - demon of elbows

"End"??

OMG - I didn't expect the story to be over so soon...

Very different. I liked it.
[btw, out of curiousity, what's the final wordcount?]

It also sounds like my father! Inspiration strikes close to home.

And thanks! I believe the final wordcount is around 36,000 words.

Thank you!

Harry's problem was not daring to let himself hope. I think he's finally learned that sometimes, it works.

YAY! You did give it a happy ending! (Yes, I was still a bit worried about that. *blushes*) I love that Harry sees Scorpius as their son and I loved the way Draco battled the internal struggle between loving who Harry was and dealing with the way he looked.

This line especially brought me to tears...

But his spirit burned as brightly as ever, and it was the spirit guiding the body that Draco wanted to make love to him, not the face.

Wonderful story, hon!

Hee, I always meant to. But I didn't want it to be too happy too soon, which was one reason so much time had to pass before Harry and Draco could get toether.

Scorpius is going to be raised by both Draco and Harry, and god help his Hogwarts professors.

And thank you!

So things didn't work out perfectly, but life went on. Nice story.

You are one of the few authors I am still reading in H/D...I think I am leaving this fandom behind. I am not really picking up another fandom, tho', so............
