I loved the brief exchange between Lucius and Narcissa - I always enjoy how you characterise them.
That was a silly move on Draco's part - hardly the way to get Harry to trust him. I'm intrigued by that letter - is Harry seeing things as a result of his coming back from the dead?
I really like Lucius and Narcissa's relationship with each other...and Narcissa's defense of Harry. I do think that Draco has a lot to learn about privacy...and I hope that he gets to do that in this story...
Is Harry able to see things now because he was the Master of Death?
Oooooh...!!! That was probably the letter Harry received last chapter! What can he see? Visions? Spirits? Auras? *bounces with excitement* And yes, with Harry it's important to lay weigh on the smaller things... all the large events in his life has always sort of been pre-determined and he hadn't really completely control over them, they were severe circumstances, but the smaller things in his life, the decisions he has made without much influence. Things he wasn't forced to do, or things he values, those tell a story about an all different Harry! *nods* And not a wise move from Draco - and it ending up in alienating himself against Harry even more *facepalms on Draco's behalf* Yay! Lucius and Narcissa is awesome - the whole watch-thing was brilliant!
Ohhhh.... what can Harry see? Is this part of the reason he's much more jumpy and alert that the regular aurors? Very curious. And who's writing the letters?
That was a very stupid move on Draco's part. First, he snoops when Harry is so big on privacy. Also, he underestimates what kind of alarm or wards Harry may have on the office that he doesn't see... especially after witnessing how paranoid Harry can be.
I do agree that it's the little things about Harry that make him... Harry. Not just his value system, but that he loves food, and can laugh at jokes (like you pointed out). I'd list more of his canon characteristics, but I'm not sure how many of those this Harry has kept in the past 16 years.
Yes, yes, the dear lomonaaeren's stories are always intriguing! Who (or what?) indeed!?
Yes, exactly what I thought but couldn't put into words! He really has a long way to go before getting to know Harry as well as he wants to!
*nod nod* Yes, exactly! :D Again, precisely what I was thinking about - you managed to find some examples! ^_^ And I agree too, about the 16 years probably having changed him in this story - to draw forth some of Harry's Harry-qualities and push some of the others in the background. Like, he doesn't seem very like the awkward Harry we've seen at the yule ball and such, but he has that fierce Harry-determination!
Harry is simply Harry in a special Harry way! *nod*
Only fangirls could make sense of that *grins broadly*

And alas, I can't answer that question yet.

Draco will slowly learn it, much against his will.
Can't answer that!
