If Draco can break through the curse by sheer stubbornness, he'll surely do it.

I think Harry did let down those walls around his friends, but he's had a lot of practice by now in keeping them up, since every time he lowers them, he just gets slapped.

(Seeing as someone obviously faked Dracos' signature, is it now safe to assume that the caster hasn't forgotten about the curse after all?)

I really can't answer that, but I will say that, since Harry doesn't know who the caster was and the curse causes hostility in most people, he could easily have mistaken the caster's reaction for something else.

That was a fabulous chapter :) I'm glad Draco seems to have finally broken the curse. I also get the feeling that there is more going on below the surface than there appears.

Out of interest will we ever find out who cast the curse on Harry?

I very definitely know how and why the story ends- in four more chapters- and I know what the plot for the sequel is like. Thus, while I can't give you a very speedy story, I can give you a solid one.
