Awwwww, Teddy is so cute! Love him. I adore their differing reactions to the new world. Draco is pleased as punch and the uber-Gryffindor still wants to fix everything. So Harry.
So what happened is that the life debts created that world, and were showing it to them in dreams and mirrors but it wasn't real until they split. Now for Harry and Draco, their past together is a reality even if there are parts they don't know and they remember everything that happened before (Ginny, Andormeda, life debts vs marriage vows, etc.). What about the details they don't know? Are the dreams going to show them or will they have to learn them by another way? I'm curious what other people will think now, because even if in their new reality they'd been together for 10 years, they haven't really been together outside of dreams for that long so there should be some difference in they way they act now than in the way everyone is used to. After all, for Harry and Draco being a proper couple is fairly new. Hmmm, maybe people will think they're on a second honeymoon phase or something ::lol

Yes, exactly.
Harry and Draco will have to feel out the details that they don't know. Their dreams showed them some, but not everything. For the present, they'll probably have to say that the magical "experiment" they were doing knocked out some of their wits.
As for their behavior to one another, luckily no one but Narcissa really lives close enough to them to notice a difference. (In this world, as the dreams hinted at, Hermione and Ron tolerate Draco but don't really like him, so they're not always hanging around Malfoy Manor).
Draco would probably say that he sure would have tried to understand the magical things happening to him, so Harry damn well should have, too. :)
Poor Harry. He doesn't mind being happy anymore, but he hates to think of other people paying the price of the happiness.
Well I say good riddance of those noisy wives! But I'm anxious to know what is in that mirror!I don't want to think of any universe where Draco isn't with Harry! Which is why I stay clear from those JKr books!...*shudders*
So, not the explanation I had in mind but this one works well. But I love how the scars are all gone now. :) This was the perfect way of resolving that, and keeping Harry alive. :P
Reminds me a lot of Terry Pratchett, in the detail anyway. He has the 'trouser legs of time' theory, where, if you change one thing, you could find yourself going down the wrong trouser leg. Also, there's a quote in Soul Music, except I can't find it. Something along the lines of 'For all the other possibilities to happen, this one had to happen as well'.

Harry would take a chance to correct things for everyone in a heartbeat. It's just as well that there's not really a way for him to do that.

The last two chapters are all about details.
