That was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish.
I am so glad that Harry and Draco both are thrilled about the world they live in. They are obviously very happy with each other and their children. The mirror-world Harry seems so alone, despite having his family around him. I though that the first time I read the epilogue, too, how he and Ginny seemed like people who were just standing next to each other, not husband and wife. It's sad. At least Harry recognizes how his double's poor choices led to it. And he obviously intentionally makes better choices now.
Brilliant story. Now I'm going to re-read it, just because it's a great read.
Thank you. With such a long story, that's doubly nice to hear. :)
I was stunned, after the first time I reread the epilogue, just how little contact between Harry and Ginny there was. I don't think they actually exchange a single word, and all Harry's thoughts are focused around his children and his friends. Granted, that is only one glimpse of their relationship, but since so much information is packed in otherwise, I think Rowling could have included information about the "perfect" marriage, too.
A large part of the story was Harry learning to make better choices, just as Draco had to get himself out of the apathy.
The next WiP will probably start up in about a week, but I'll be working on one-shots and 'Forgive Those Who Trespass' between now and then.
Thank you! That was actually the seed of the story, seeing how I could make it epilogue-compliant without getting Harry and Draco divorced immediately thereafter.
I find it unfair that Lily gets ignored so much of the time in post-epilogue fic. I'm tempted to write stories about her.
Lily did a great number of things perfectly, but Harry suspected her main interest was world domination.
Hahaha, this is so fantastic. I love the world here so much better than the mirror world. Al and Scorpius as best buds is just too cute. Wonderful end for a lovely fic. I look forward to the next great story idea that pops into your head!
I do think that this Harry is much happier in this world than he would have been in the mirror one. Of course, I am not JKR, and cannot see how happy Harry is actually meant to be in the canon world. :)
Currently, I'm playing idly with the 'A Potion Named Desire' series I mentioned a while back, or writing a different story, a murder mystery.

Lily is awesome. I can imagine her growing up to be the same kind of awesome as Julia. :D
And yay! congrats on finishing another lovely fic. =)

And yes, the other Harry is sad, but as Harry said, it's mainly his own choices that brought him to this pass.
