i love how they're both so excited about this :D great chapter!
(question. why do you always make the secrets do easy to guess? ive been right about most all of them from your other fics, and i'm sure i've guessed what the potion does for Harry and what the incident was... just wondering)

Thank you!

(I don't deliberately make them easy to guess, I simply make it possible. Lots of people had trouble with the IGYAWM secret, and with this one, I haven't heard one correct guess yet, only several saying that the potion prevents Harry from being gay (which is wrong) and several other people hinting mysteriously that they know but won't say. I have no idea, therefore, if you have guessed correctly or not).

i doesn't? well then... um... forget that last part... :I damn. just to let you know then, it seems like you're hinting towards that... hmmmm then.... must rethink.

Nope. Harry admits at the beginning he's bisexual, though he's never dated a man. He has no problems with his sexual orientation.

Wooooo!!! That was totally fricking awesome! I'm enjoying the conversations quite as much as the action and everything else, nearly as much as Draco. Loved the way Harry saved them and then acted like it was just a typical situation, lol! Can't wait for more!

Thank you!

And boy, am I glad to hear that, because the conversations are an enormous part of this; even when the potion's brewed, in the next stories, they're discussing marketing and ethics and the rest of it.

Harry is dangerously sanguine about dangerous situations.

Awesome! Looking forward to more "should be boring but isn't" conversations.

And yeah, but he's just so damned CUTE.

Thanks!

Draco will find that cuteness of Harry's unamusing in the next story when he assumes that everyone can just get along politically.

Ooo... that hand thing was particularly interesting. Is that the one that has the Dark Mark on it?

Thanks!

And no. As far as I know (that is, I don't remember any contradictory canon), Draco is right-handed. The Dark Mark is on his left arm.

I really liked this chapter. I enjoyed the ethics debate at the start, the potion theory and how Draco was impressed with Harry's knowledge. And because I'm a sucker for a "Harry takes Malfoy's hand" moment (classic h/d), I loved the end.

And I really like this:

“You care more about me than the whole damn wizarding world,” Hermione whispered.

“Yes, that is in fact the case,” Harry said. He didn’t take his eyes off her.

I love stories where Harry and Hermione have a really strong friendship.

And maybe I'm dense compared to everyone else but I don't know what Harry's controlling with the potion! ;)

Thank you!

There are at least four relationships forming the core of this story: Harry-Hermione, Harry-Draco, Draco-Hermione, and the relationship all the three of them have together. Draco and Hermione's is as important as the rest, though largely antagonistic.

And Harry stays true and loyal to Hermione. I think that's even truer in this fic than in others, because Ron is gone and there's no one else who knows everything they went through together.

Don't worry! I haven't yet heard a right guess; it's possible that someone knows, but if so, they haven't said. I always try to tread a line between giving clues and keeping up the mystery, if only so the characters don't seem stupid.
