So the potion is almost complete, and we still know little about what exactly Harry hides of himself with his potion other than he fears it. He fears himself I would suggest from this chapter, he fears his reactions to others ... I wonder if he hides from himself the fact he's gay.

Well, I think it's probably possible to guess. :) But he needs to trust in Draco a little more before he can reveal that secret.

In this case, no, he doesn't hide that. He does accept himself as bisexual. But so far, all his affairs have been with women.

I think the potion curbs Harry's passion because the force of it is too strong, or so he thinks. Did he hurt Ginny with too much magic that stemmed from passion????

passion can be love, lust, anger etc.
