Excellent. And I really love what you're saying here about people being responsibile about what they do and what they take and what they put in their bodies. It irritates me to no end when people are irresponsible with themselves and then try to blame it on others...suing someone because there was no warning on a coffee cup that the coffe was HOT, for example. *growls* AND, I hate governments putting rules and regulations on every damn thing. Let me know what a particular thing does, yes, but then leave it up to me to decide what to do with it, please and thank you. So, yeah. Well done!

Oh...and I agree. This victory did indeed deserve a kiss...

Thank you!

At some point, I think a certain level of responsibility has to exist. Obviously, there are exceptions; children can't be trusted to know all about the properties of certain drugs the way adults can. But perfect protection isn't possible, and isn't needed.

Excellent chapter. I like that Harry's straightforward approach won the day.

I was thinking about your story the other night and got all excited when I realized that there would maybe, hopefully! be a scene where powerful!Harry gets a hold of Daphne! Maybe he'll realize that he needs his passions to protect the people he loves too. And you know how I love my powerful!Harry!

But gak, I'm scared for Draco to say anything to anyone. I have a bad feeling that if he tries to explain the situation, he'll have another heart attack. I hate Daphne. Grr at the twistedness of her.

Thank you! It was a little lesson for Draco, too: to realize that he really doesn't know politics, which he's deliberately kept out of, and he really might be as helpless, or as good, as Harry is, no more.

Ooh, I think you will like the scene that comes up at the end of the story! But I can't tell you about it in much detail yet.

That was also a motive for Draco this chapter (though not expressed so well as I could have expressed it).

I don't know, I thought it came through pretty clearly. I was actually wondering if Draco was going to have to write it down or something when he finally tells Harry and if that will "count" according to Daphne's modifications. Creepy bitch.

And yay *skips happily* I can't wait for Harry to work his fury!!!!

The word Committee is a chilling word, and I held my breathe until they got through the hearing.

Thanks! I'm not sure about making the committee itself chilling, but I know I wouldn't have wanted to be in either of their places.

Great chapter! I love how Draco wants Harry to go back to the exuberance that he once despised, and yet Harry won't do that because Draco won't tell him what's wrong! ^_^ You have a great interplay between your characters and I enjoy each chapter!!

Thanks!

It's a rather frustrating cycle, isn't it? Of course, Draco could open his mouth and take his chances, but he's afraid that means losing his chance with Harry at some future undefined time.
