Hmmmm. Interesting things afoot? I'm wondering if the young witch was Daphne in disguise and that's why Harry's magic acted that way? Otherwise, it's a rather creepy parallel.
And hurray for Harry finally wanting his passion back! Now, how long will it take for him to actually allow himself to have what he wants?
I was thinking of it as a parallel to Daphne giving Draco a heart attack. Creepy that Harry's magic would affect someone's heart after Draco nearly died from a similar thing, despite different intentions.
awww. Poor Harry. He really wants Draco. His shift in emotions is...interesting. We will find out why?? right?? :D
As for Draco. WHOO! lol. thanks for showing us his potion making! i swear, the way you write Draco is FTFW! xD
As for the "giggling witch" i am pretty sure that is Daphne...or maybe she disguised herself. hopefully, if she had, draco would instantly recognize her. I hope he won't have a bad reaction if he does.
Hmm, creepy stalker fan or something more? XD I'm glad Harry thought it through before going out to confront her.
Haha, and Draco bringing up the potion again out of the blue. Good for him. I really love how to-the-point he's being now that he's already mentioned it before. No more holding back, I hope. Please do write more soon!
Very interesting chapter! My guess is that that weird girl was Daphne (for a moment there I thought Harry would do something as stupid as opening the door). I don’t know anyone else who would laugh after what Harry did to her heart. That scene was a bit freaky :P If it were a horror movie that next photo would show someone with no face or something like that.
I loved how Draco brought up the potion subject. He had to, otherwise what Draco told Harry would have never been mentioned again. Harry would have avoid thinking about it forever ::lol:: And I loved how confident Draco was that Harry’s decision wasn’t permanent. Harry’s still adamant he’s doing the right thing, though whishing he could have passion shows he might not be as resolute as he thinks.
I still think that the potion doesn’t keep him from being passionate (not with the emotion it suppresses), it’s him that’s the problem. He’s gotten used to forcing calmness onto himself when dealing with situations that don’t exactly involve anger, lust or jealously
( ... )
Heh, well, there are clues buried in that scene as to the witch's identity, if you can find them.
Draco sees no reason not to go for broke now. Harry already knows most of the secrets he tried to keep hidden.
And you're right that he's probably suppressing most of his emotions on his own. The problem is that he links passion with sexual passion, and sexual passion with the emotions the potion does suppress.
The question about Harry's magic is answered by the end of the story.
Hermione has been busy with all sorts of things, one of which might be trying to deal with her depression.
Harry's ability to recognize manipulation might be exaggerated a bit, yes. :)
Thanks for reviewing!

Probably a while. He's barely admitted it to himself, after all.

And this flowery-robed witch...interesting. A polyjuiced Daphne? Or a new player on the scene? I look forward to finding out!

Next chapter (maybe) will contain the answer about the witch.

And thank you!
If you compare this witch's description with Daphne's earlier in the story, you can see they don't look the same.
