Well the verdict is in... no tear, just the worst case of tendinitis ever. Doc has ordered physical therapy for the next six weeks or so to see if I can get full use back. *sigh* When I'll have time to fit it in is beyond me, but there it is.

The MRI has been done... finally.  Turned out to be a miscommunication between the insurance company and the MRI place.  That I got straightened out.  Oy Vey.

MRIs don't bother me provided I have headphones or ear plugs, in fact I can pretty much just doze off during them.  However, today embodied one of the more painful experiences in my life ( Read more... )

Got a new phone... finally.  Yes, I retired my beat to hell Blackberry and upgraded to a new iPhone at Verizon.  So far am quite happy with my mini-iPad and have downloaded the mandatory apps -- LJ, Facebook and Twitter.  So I am ready to rock and roll, my friends ( Read more... )

Yeah, not the best of days off.

Woke up, treated myself to a Dunkin' Donuts coffee, and began to surf.  The usual.  My elbow, however, had other plans and decided to hurt, so since I didn't want to spend the day being whimpery about my frickin' arm, I took a pain pill.  Nothing fancy, just hydrocodone.  Pain faded to a reasonable point and I end up ( Read more... )

Okay, maybe not ever, but things did not go as planned.  After over a year of decent cholesterol and sugar scores, this time they were crappy to put it mildly.  And to top it off I've gained five pounds.  How I managed that, I don't know considering I forget to eat half the time.  Doc also wants me to start exercising again, though when I explained ( Read more... )
