I hope everyone had a good time out last night. I was out all day covering the gnome plague in West Yorkshire, and while I was setting up a shot one of the little bastards tried to gnaw through my ankle, so after I wrapped everything up I had to go to the a and e, and then by the time I got home all I felt like doing was going to bed. Oooh, I hope you don't get an infection. Do they need any help with clearing up the plague? I've got itchy trigger fingers! Make someone bring you beer, and just chill out mate, those little bastards are draining.

I think it'll be all right. They gave me something for it and told me I should be fine as long as I keep it clean. Which is a good excuse not to take any more assignments that involve standing in muddy (gnome infested!) fields for a while.

I think they're doing fine with it, but I don't suppose they'd actually turn down an extra set of hands. Or trigger fingers, rather! I would've thought the dragons would keep you plenty busy though.

I think too many someones brought me too many beers last night. I'm still recovering! What's that saying about the cure being worse than the disease?

Beer's good for you mate, Guinness is even better. They used to give that out in Muggle hospitals as it's got loads of iron in it. So drink lots of it!

Think I'll pop up and do my bit for Yorkshire. Gnomes are tricky little bastards though, I'll have to just get tough with them.

Me, and the Hat, going into business.

Oh, and sending over some marshmallow ointment, that's really good for wounds.

Um, I think the party will be next weekend? We should send out invitations, Colin! (Of course I wasn't kidding! Isn't it fantastic! I'll see if she will!)

How was the Muggle world, then?

You mean to say you Gryffindors haven't managed to organise your little get together yet?

I'm beginning to think that none of you could organise your way out of a wet paper bag even with a map and a compass. You need to do what the rest of us do. Just say "this is what's happening and where it's happening". Then it's up to everyone else to show up!

It's different, it's a party for someone. In a more specific sense than that thing for Nott the Slytherins had!

Guess you won't be coming, then!

What made the party for Nott non-specific, She-Weasel? Merely because you were not invited?

West Yorkshire is fairly close to my neck of the woods. Please tell me they are not spreading. That is one thing I cannot contend with at present.

Where do you live? The pest control bloke said they seemed to be moving north-west.

Oh, that's just wonderful. I'm in North Yorkshire, actually in the Eastern Part, but you know what gnomes are like.
