Finally! I secretly had vowed to myself that I would write another fanfiction within one year, after my first attempt exactly a year ago. So here we go with keeping promises!

And.. *Mazal tov. Probably in yiddish it is with an e, and you are not wrong. But since you probably don't have any yiddish speaking people on your flist, but you have an hebrew speaker who's a bit bothered by the e, she thought of just letting you know that in hebrew it is with an a. ;)

That's interesting, thanks for the input:
I actually googled the spelling in different places, because I know both versions. Apparently "Mazel Tov" is the common Americanized spelling, because it is listed like this in several of the "official" English dictionaries whereas "Mazal Tov" is completely unknown. Since House actually is located in the United States I decided on the American spelling in the end. Do you think you can live with this spelling? ;)

Well, English has taken it from the yiddish, when the yiddish has taken it from the hebrew. Therefore, the hebrew is the most correct form.
You can keep in like that, but there is NOWAY the American way is the right way. :P

Lol! even if the American spelling isn't the original one, I'm used to use American English whenever I write about House. If I ever have to wish it you, I'll keep it in mind to say "Mazal tov"...
