London - Three pigs in need for a new home (or two)
Please re-direct anyone you know in the London-area (or beyond) who is looking for guinea pigs to this post. I've made it public for a reason.
I've got to give up my three guinea pigs.
I am absolutely heartbroken that I am having to do this, but my home is being repossessed because my landlord is a dick and so my landlord has told me I need to find a new place by the end of July. I was lucky in finding this place because my room is HUGE and I've had LOADS of room for my pigs (two 4x3 cages), but it looks as though I am going to have to find new homes for my boys by the end of July.
I am actually getting quite choked up even typing this because I love my babies to absolute pieces, but there is no way I'll be able to find a new place that'll a) allow three pigs b) be large enough to house them anyway and c) be affordable by myself.
Onto my babies:
Fox and Otter live together - Fox is almost 2yrs old now and Otter is 10 months old. They get along really well and they must be homed together. If needs be I'll re-home them separately, but I really want to avoid that situation. Badger lives alone and prefers to live alone. All my boys are not neutered. I am doing this post well in advance of July because I want to form a friendship with whomever takes my pigs into their home and continues to love them as much as I have (wow, getting teary eyed now).. I want to find people who will send me the odd email every now and again with an update of how they are with pictures. I just want to see them grow.
Fox - Absolute sweetheart, tame as anything and my big fluffy baby. I am going to miss this big lump the most. He is the cutest thing to ever waddle on this planet.
Otter - Noisy, nervy, but completely nutty (in the most adorable way!) Loves being by Fox, even when he is pushing him around, and loves popcorning A LOT.
Badger - My little lone wolf. He loves his food, is still a little nervy when held, but puts up with it because he just loves the attention and he enjoys being talked to.
If cages are needed I've got three, two I've made (one comes with fleece/toweling):
And an old one store bought:
Whoever takes my pigs can have the cage[s] for free and anything that comes with it - Lots of toys, fleece etc. Also any food/hay I've got left when it comes to the big move.. I just want my babies to be safe and loved and I want to be able to hear updates on them.
