The long and the short of it

I've been incredibly lax about updating this journal. Haven't written anything in ages, but there hasn't been that much to report, aside from our trip to Oxford a few weeks ago. You can look at the gorgeous pictures here. I've been putting together a new website, and preparing for my return, which is tomorrow

Poor Ali :( I kind of know what you're feeling, though. Monday afternoon, some friends and I threw a surprise party for 3 very dear seniors who are graduating on Sunday. It was cheery and fun, but there was still a pervasive undertone of "This is goodbye, for real." With boarding school, it doesn't matter how close you try to stay; at the end of the day, you're still scattered to the four winds, leading seperate lives. You have better connections, though, with a future hubby and all involved in those friendships ;)

Again, I say, this side of the pond needs your voice. Git home! ;)
