glassjaw made the sound so that other bands would fit to them. all this pop punk screaming stuff had somewhat of an influence from the jaw.

Haha...well, my friends from Montreal still like ska (it's still rather big there) and it's sorta ska-ish, so I don't know, my friend played it for me a couple years ago and it stuck?
