Bard was horrendous. Our guide was a humorless, uneducated dolt and the campus was falling apart. They wouldn't show us an actual dorm room, but the freshman quad they showed us made me want to hurt myself ( Read more... )

Yes, Bard, as in New York. And I'm hardly in the UK (I wish!)- residing in Delaware, actually.

Bard was total ass, made worse by the fact that I really had high hopes for it. Everything I'd read about Bard made it sound ideal for someone like me, but it was horrible.

It is! And thanks. Vassar is by far my first choice as of this moment, so hopefully I'll get in...but I do also have other schools to look at as well, if only to find somewhere I could go without killing myself if I don't get into Vassar.

My best friend from high school, amylynbrand, went to Vassar, and she loved it. I'm sure she could give you lots of info about it, and she likes meeting new LJ friends. I think she did art, and Tristan said you might be looking at that.

I shall surely add her. And yes, I will probably do a major in Medieval Studies and a minor in art (or at least that's my plan this week).
