When you're a mother, you'll disagree with the Mother's Day thing. So much of the time you get caught up just doing what you have to do so that your child is happy, intelligent, fed, and all that other good jism. On Mother's Day, you find yourself sitting back and saying, "Hey, maybe I'm not doing such a bad job after all." You need those days. Besides, the little art projects they bring home are the best gifts ever.

Coming from a mother whose parenting techniques need to be banned, I have a biased view. Of course I want it to be different for when I am a mother, but by no means will I parent like my own. Hypocrisy regarding one's dreams and goals in life is just too far to tread in my book, but my mother does it well.
