Aha, lovely to see you catching up here, and it was so great to catch up with you at WinK. I had been wondering how your plans had been going with all the upheaval. All the best to daughter, whatever she decides.

Ah, Sunderland Empire, amazing place. I would love to see War Horse; it's on my ever-expanding Things To See list.

Holidays! Yay! Enjoy them! Enjoy, and return refreshed!

WINK was great, wasn't it!

Do go to see War Horse if you get the chance, I'm sure you'll love it. Must admit it does rankle to see something like that at the Empire though, we always get the National Theatre tours at the Theatre Royal! I can only assume that the size of the stage at the Empire swung it *g*

All set for the hols now, thanks - and I meant to say, sorry that we won't be able to fit in a get-together this time! We're only actually in Somerset for three whole days, one of which is going to be spent visiting family in Devon, so I'm afraid we've been scuppered by lack of time. Let me know next time you're in the frozen north though!

Plans: you make 'em and then they change! I hope all goes well with your daughter and her op. It's great that you will be there to help out.

War Horse and WinK sound great fun! And moving house... I hope all goes well! I shall look forward to the pics of your holidays as well - I love other people's holidays *g*

As a closet fan of property shows *g* I can definitely agree that Victorian features really do help sell a place. I do hope it all goes well when you're in a position to put it on the market.

Sorry to hear about G's possible operation :-( Good wishes to her if she does decide to go ahead with it.

Have a lovely holiday.

Ooh yes, I never miss an episode of Escape to the Country if I can help it! I always try to imagine myself in their shoes, although they seem to have so much money to spend nowadays that the houses they look at are way out of our league.

Thanks for the good wishes for G, hopefully things will turn out well.

All set for the hols now - you really started something when you sent me that Exmoor video to copy, didn't you? Our tenth year of holidaying down there now... *g*

I confess that whilst I used to love Escape to the Country, I rarely bother these days as I get annoyed by how few houses they show, by how they rarely seem to really listen to what the people want and mostly by how all the people seem to have so much money to spend. It didn't used to be that way.

I am instead a devotee of Kirsty & Phil (Location, Location, Location).

I really do hope so.

Oh, good. Of course I remember that - golly, I did indeed, did I not? Where have those ten years gone?
