Do go to see War Horse if you get the chance, I'm sure you'll love it. Must admit it does rankle to see something like that at the Empire though, we always get the National Theatre tours at the Theatre Royal! I can only assume that the size of the stage at the Empire swung it *g*

We're only actually in Somerset for three whole days, one of which is going to be spent visiting family in Devon, so I'm afraid we've been scuppered by lack of time. Ooh yes, I never miss an episode of Escape to the Country if I can help it! I always try to imagine myself in their shoes, although they seem to have so much money to spend nowadays that the houses they look at are way out of our league.

I confess that whilst I used to love Escape to the Country, I rarely bother these days as I get annoyed by how few houses they show, by how they rarely seem to really listen to what the people want and mostly by how all the people seem to have so much money to spend. It didn't used to be that way.
I am instead a devotee of Kirsty & Phil (Location, Location, Location).
I really do hope so.
