4x07: "Detente"
ABC summary: "While Sydney and Nadia argue about Nadia's acceptance of Sloane's fatherly concerns, Sloane worries about Nadia's well-being when she and Sydney go undercover as wealthy, irresponsible young heiresses to uncover the whereabouts of a deadly chemical."
wee! fun episode!
the beginning felt random but it was needed to establish the whole russian guy who stole this vile. speaking of chemicals, recent missions seem to revolve around chemical objects like ice. ha, syd's costume was really funky. i missed the city they were in, but it looked... swedish?
GIRL POWER! look at those girl instincts go! i mean, syd/nadia spotted the purse, trashy magazines, half filled wine bottle, etc etc. vaughn/weiss were like, "whoa whoa whoa! how are they doing this!?" proud moment for the us females. *snap snap* mmmhmm! i liked that whole mission and weiss was randomly with them! "i ordered a french maid." syd/nadia being fake drunk was amusing and vaughn/weiss! dating sisters! rival girlfriends! my girlfriend is better than yours! lol. what can you do, weiss/nadia are in that beginning stage of looooove. he's head over heels in love with her and it's so friggin' adorable. ha, how weiss went on and on about nadia stealing the palm pilot just like that and vaughn was like, "ALRIGHT! I GET THE POINT!" Jealous with a capital J! and weiss saying, "this is the perfect girl." nadia and random soccer knowledge! "and it's FUTbol." "FUTBOL." "FUTBOL." "FUTBOL." I LOVED THAT SCENE.

aww, dixon/syd had a moment. it was nice, dixon sharing about his wife and all. melodramatic moment brought to you by syd: "SLOANE. he was in my HOUSE."
man, syd was laying down the law about sloane! tension, tension. the yacht shots were gorgeous. the blue skies, beautiful water, etc. talk about backstabbing, that girlfriend was quite wicked. who knew she was a double? the action sequences in this episode were really good, really intense. the scene on the yacht when everyone turned and shot each other was bourne identity/supremacy-like.
syd/girlfriend fight! woo! when they took that tumble, we (alias watchers in the room) went "oooooohhhhh!" wow, that girlfriend could fight! speaking of fight, nadia was amazingly fiesty. i dunno, after seeing this episode... syd or nadia? who fights better? anyway, i didn't expect the girlfriend to SHOOT THE GUY. unexpected. ha, and syd, basically insulting sloane to the very end. wee! obviously, sloane took it badly, but it's good to know the man has feelings!
weiss: "excuse me, we're flirting."
i missed what syd said to sloane at the very end, but i think that relationship is okay.
i liked this episode-- the mixture of fun (GIRL POWER) and intensity. much better than last week's. much, much better. oh, and by the way:
