ABC summary: With Nadia's life on the line, Sydney must race to bring down former nemesis Anna Espinosa (Gina Torres). Meanwhile, Vaughn's inner demons surface when, in order to help Sydney save Nadia, he's forced to confront his own former nemesis, the slippery and deadly Mr. Sark (David Anders).
Awww, Weiss talking to Vaughn about how much he likes Nadia! building bottled ships! ha!
So Sloane steps down for a bit and lets Jack take over the operation. Heeeey ANNA ESPINOSA RETURNS as Syd's archenemy. Anna's so sneaky, especially with getting Syd to take that phone call and taking Nadia hostage? Nice. Syd is so resourceful and come on now, ripping that dress into a skirt like that? A liiiiitle too perfect there. But, just the idea of it. Hooker, ha!
Ahhh, CUTTING OFF THE GUY'S INDEX FINGER OFF. The guy was so unbelievably confused, it was funny. He was like, "what the FUCK is going ON?!" "here's the deal. we cut your finger off and you play dead, mmmkay?" nice job, though. I liked the fake bullet and blood. Gooo polaroids for making things look authentic. Wait, so all of that trouble for a some putty? Well, obviously dangerous putty but still. it's putty.
...putty.
Teehee, Marshall getting on the thinking action with the interconnected evil groups. wee! Syd/Anna fight was gloriously funny. "She can have the blouse."
marshall: "booyakah!" (almost like ali g! BOOYAKASHA!)
Rambaldi is back! I knew he'd be back. So new story to Rambaldi: the sides of the symbol signifies the 2 sisters battling over an object in the middle. One will die and the other will survive.
SARK.
WOW.
.......wow. I loooove my evil englishman! Though Vaughn did bitch slap him, that's okay! Sark is so laid back and... and... wow. I LOVE HIS WALK. IT'S SO AMAZING.
anyway.
So Vaughn tries getting info out of Sark (who's in penitentiary) but of course, being Sark, he doesn't give anything away really. Things get a bit iffy between the 2 when Sark brings up Lauren, the "woman he loved." He loved Lauren (like he loved AG Dorian, aka Francie's double). Vaughn gets all huffy and bitch slaps him. and then threatens to place him in solitary confinement. During the night, they gas Sark's cell and inject a tracker into his neck. ha, Marshall in a gas mask!
marshall: "mess with a friend of flinkman, and you mess with flinkman."
They stage Sark's kidnapping so Sark would think that Anna was intervening. But of course, it was all CIA/APO. and of course, Sark is too smart for that and leads them astray, to random place in South Africa. "So why run?" "For the bubbly." hee!
Meanwhile, Syd/Nadia go find Anna. oh, wait. backtrack. Nadia was taken by Anna, who brands her with the Rambaldi symbol on HER NECK. talk about a majorly sensitive area. Okay, so back to where I was. Syd/Nadia go find Anna and la dee la. Showdown sort between Syd/Anna, but Anna gets away. Syd/Nadia see each other's shadows, thinking it's Anna but not. They almost shoot each other BUT. BUT. ANNA SHOOTS NADIA IN THE BACK. Nadia passes out, end episode.
Did she die? Of course not! Next episode: Nadia's in a coma while Syd has her revenge against Anna. Oh and Jack injects something into Nadia. I smell... evil? I'm pretty sure Sloane is going to go back to his evil ways.
Finally, a storyline that goes more than one episode. We're back to the cliffhangers, which is good. It kind of makes me want to watch it more.
LOST
AHHHH THIS SHOW IS SO FRIGGIN' GOOD. this episode was centered around the korean couple, jin and sun. we find out more about their past and why jin (husband) stopped speaking to sun (wife). umm, let's see. okay so michael built a raft so he and his son can get off the island (the raft can fit 4 people). but the raft gets burned down and michael thinks that jin did it because those 2 aren't on the best terms. in the beginning, sun is wearing a pretty bikini and jin rushes over, telling her to cover up. sun/jin get in a fight; michael comes over to intervene (protecting sun), but sun slaps michael across the face. jin asks sun about michael back at the caves and sun says it's nothing.
sun comes back to apologize, saying she was only protecting michael (by the way, sun can speak english. only michael and kate know). she says that "you don't know what my husband is capable of." flashbacks to jin. it's jin's side of the story now (they already did sun's side of the story). it's so... heartbreaking. alright, so jin works for sun's father who does dirty work (i mean, her father owns a factory but you know). jin gets promoted to be his "special assistant." his first task is to deliver a message, something like "i am very displeased." meaning, jin's supposed to kill this guy. but of course, jin doesn't know that and literally delivers the message, word for word. he gets a puppy from the guy in return (which is how sun got her puppy-- jin gave it to her as a gift).
jin gets yelled at by sun's father and sends another guy to do the work. but jin gets to the guy first and beats the crap out of him, telling the guy to reopen the factory. basically, jin saves the guy's life. when jin gets back home, he's got blood all over his hands from beating up the guy. before in sun's flashback, we're led to believe that jin killed someone when he really didn't. from that incident, jin wouldn't communicate with sun. he wouldn't tell her anything because he doesn't want to tell sun the truth about her father, whereas sun just thinks jin doesn't love her anymore. so! after sun leaves jin in the bathroom to wash his hands off, he starts sobbing. it was so sad...
back to the present. okay, so i said that michael thinks that jin burned down the raft. sawyer gets on jin's case and beats him up a little. he brings jin to the beach wherein michael starts beating the crap out of him. everyone gathers around; jack tries to intervene but someone (i think sawyer) says that it's their fight. sun comes and watches in horror. finally, she says something. she yells, "STOP IT!" and everyone turns and looks at her. she can speak english. everyone knows now. she defends jin, saying that he didn't burn down the raft; he never lies. locke appears and says that everyone is so bent on blaming each other for their problems when there are other people on the island, that they have to worry about what's out there. people scatter and jin... jin walks away from sun.
back to the past. so i forgot the mention. before he married sun, he went to her father to ask for permission to marry her, yadda yadda. when sun's father asks about jin's father, jin says his father is dead. but he really isn't. jin's father is a fisherman and... and he's ashamed of his father because he isn't some prominent business, etc. jin goes back to see his father and asks for forgiveness. they hug and reconnect. while on his father's fishing boat, jin talks to him about sun and the problem with working for her father. jin's supposed to deliver something from sydney to LA, and his father tells him to run away, go to america, start a new life. go back to the beginning.
flashback to the present.
sun/jin are still not speaking to each other. sun confronts jin, who is moving to the beach. basically, she asks why he doesn't talk to her anymore. why can't they go back to the way they were. the beginning. jin says, "it's too late," and he walks away from her.
so, sadly, they are separated. oh my god, at the end, it's SUCH A PRETTY SHOT. sun is at the beach with a towel and she slowly lets go of the towel, letting it fly away. she's just wearing the bikini. she's free. good symbolism, huh? i love it!
so who burned down the raft? it was michael's son, walt. he burned it down because he's tired of moving. he likes it on the island. and of course, locke knows because he knows everything.
ahh! AHHH! SHANNON AND SAYID!!! THEY KISS!!! COUPLE! TOGETHER! IT'S SO CUTE!
at the end, hurley's listening to a cd player (damien rice. crap, i forget which song but i think it was "delicate" or "the blower's daughter") and they show all the "couples." shannon/sayid! charlie/claire! then the cd player dies and hurley's like, "aw, man!" lol, funny ending.
NEXT WEEK! HURLEY'S STORY! YES. followed by a six week break.................... can't. take. such a. long. break.
and apparently, hurley was on the TV in one of the scenes. that's what a friend said, though it could be true because his story is that he did something that hurt everyone around him. awww, but he's so nice and helpful to everyone. i heart hurley.
whew, that was a long lost summary but IT'S SO FRIGGIN' GOOD.
