ABC summary: While on a mission in Germany, Sydney inadvertently places the life of an American civilian in jeopardy and must do all she can to get him out of harm's way. Meanwhile, Jack plans a deadly visit with an old friend, and Vaughn uncovers even more unsettling secrets about his father.

jason segel? freaks and geeks? heeeey, buddy. i heart you. i hearted you in this episode very much. wasn't sam the best? he epitomized the regular joe suddenly thrown into the spy world. i mean, that would be me, totally lost and confused and then trying to play hero because it felt right.

marshall: "one small step for mitchell flinkman, one giant leap for mankind..."

best. computer animation. ever. marshall, you are my sunshine. i liked how syd was cooing over mitchell. "i could just eat him up!" so cute.

yeah so, this bad guy called sasha wants this weapon. and this weapon is a friggin' flying toy helicopter that kills people. i'm sorry, what? i was so incredibly amused when this toy helicopter started chasing syd. deadly, yes. but seriously guys. it's a mini-helicopter. it must've been fun shooting the scene though. i could just imagine jj chasing jennifer around the warehouse with that, ha!

jack kills sasha because they happened to be jolly good friends. they just kept throwing reasons not to kill that sasha. i mean, sasha was praising jack, jack meets sasha's wife and then sasha's wife is pregnant... i couldn't go through killing the man. but it's jack, stone cold, in the ZONE.

we find out more about vaughn's dad. apparently that frank murdoch betrayed his dad and well... vaughn's dad decided to shoot him in the back and paralyze him for life. bill vaughn: bad, bad man? you bet. aw, weiss and vaughn being all buddy-buddy. "did you tell anyone?" "dude." i like the little moments.

there wasn't much nadia in this episode. aw, weiss/nadia went to the movies. but it was all about sam. sam was the man. i loved him, he was best. and i'm pretty sure that was fenway park. you can't mistake those green seats.

i liked this episode. it has a nice feel to it, i dunno. cute syd/jack moment at the end. it's not such a lonely job after all.

next week looks promising.

ha! this is hilarious. oh, it's relevant.
