4x14: "Nightingale"
ABC summary: Sydney and Vaughn risk their lives and careers searching for the truth about Vaughn's presumably deceased father. Meanwhile, it's unclear why Jack and Sloane seem to be conspiring with each other and against Sydney and Vaughn, and Jack faces a potentially deadly choice that will forever change his life.
weeeee. this episode was rather... thrilling, i guess. it was all about vaughn and hey, not complaining. so nightingale is some project that manipulates the molecular structure of a human. i feels like that DNA double project with francie/ag doren. in fact, they did mention "AD-9" which made me think "francie? double?" who knows, but nightingale melts people. put a person in the room with the reactor core thing, 60 seconds later, you're DONE.
i like how everyone is so casual about injecting themselves. it's great. and of course, vaughn being paralyzed somehow amused me.
ummm, nadia/weiss were funny for that one moment. "yeah... that thing." and weiss checking up on vaughn. HA! that was great. "is that a party?"
so that whole sloane/jack deal. what's up with that? what are they hiding? something 'bout bill vaughn's death and the derevko's. apparently isabella rossellini didn't die. i thought syd shot her last season. wait, maybe she shot her in the arm. hm. interesting. sloane/jack, those sketched out kids.
dude, that guy was cool. vaughn's little info helper.
and that guy! that russian scientist guy! he's in everything. i've seen him loads of times... i just can't remember where. too bad jack jack killed him. oh and jack! exposing himself to high dosages of radiation. way to go, man. now he's all abnormal and mutated... or something. aw, and marshall only knows. poor marshall, keeping secrets.
marshall: "work some magic, work some magic, work some magic, work some magic, work some magic..."
then he hugs sloane! priceless moment.
some syd/vaughn tension happened, which is good. they were getting too perfect. i like the messed up relationships. so vaughn's got plan B and he's probably out of his mind. he kisses syd, says i love you (to which syd DOES NOT SAY BACK-- well, he did say i still love you, i think but you know... potato, potahtoe), and punches her. wee! how's that for drama.
so basically: sloane/jack have some secret, vaughn's gone rogue, syd's just hoping he's okay, still don't know if vaughn's dad is alive (apparently phillip burke was his "duplicate"), and elena derevko. which sister is that? well, one of irina's sisters is alive and such (isabella is katya).
huh. it just struck me. syd and vaughn just had a total role reversal: syd's waiting this time while vaughn's out. it's usually the other way.
uh-oh. next episooode. vaughn's rogue, baby. some blonde chick, isabella rossellini, and more secretos.
ewww. princeton kids are WEIRD.
