ABC summary: Sydney learns devastating news from her aunt, Katya Derevko (Isabella Rossellini), about her mother Irina's death. Meanwhile, Vaughn becomes a rogue agent when he steals a device to use as a bargaining tool in order to learn the truth about his father, and Marshall questions Jack's health. Joel Grey makes a guest appearance.

things are getting crazy again... and i like it! so i was half paying attention today (sorry, was worrying about other things) but it got my attention as the show went along.

so.

vaughn's dad is really dead and sloane was behind it all, setting him up.

irina wasn't the one who put a contract on syd's life. it was sloane.

now hang on a second. there's ANOTHER sloane. i'll call him sloane 2. in SANTIAGO. he was creepy, no doubt but very sloane-like. (he's got the circular glasses down.) but the point it, was it sloane 2 who set everything up or the real sloane? will the real arvin sloane please stand up?

yeah, that was pretty much the shocker.

and katya's in jail. nadia's been secretly visiting her, but then on the 3rd time, katya tried to kill her self by eating chocolate (allergic reaction). syd finds out about katya and visits her at the hospital, wherein syd finds out the truth about her mom (it was all sloane, baby).

the vaughn plot ended, which i'm glad. if his dad were alive, it would be a bad move by jj. it's better that he's dead (and i mean in the best way possible). ew, that blonde girl was gross. HA! BEST LINE EVER! "consider this the second time you've been rejected by the CIA." you got served!

yeah, he totally beat the crap out of that guy.

meanwhile, poor marshall has been worrying about jack. aww, i love marshall. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE MUTATION IS! will jack join the X-MEN?!!

that'd be pretty cool, ha.

word to vaughn, you guys. word to vaughn.

hey, something corporate fans! lead singer, andrew mcmahon, has started a side project called jack's mannequin. so login and listen to 2 of his songs, "holiday from real" and "kill the messenger." both are really good. a friend says he thinks his album will come out over the summer.

[edit] well, what do you know. josh partington of soco also has a side project, and it's called firescape and former guitarist william tell just has his own thing going on.
