In other news, I start my ten day trek around the isles tomorrow. Here to Edinburgh, Stirling, Belfast, Dublin, and Gallway, then back again.

Edinburgh is beautiful.

Make sure to tour the castle, and, for the hell of it, go on the whiskey tour (you get a discount on whiskey at the end).

Oh, and there should be several tartan shops on the Royal Mile... they usually sell scraps for about 99p... great scarves if they have 'em out.

Of course, there's the Royal Gallery... and Arthur's Seat (climb it, tons of fun...)

Yeah, I loved Edinburgh.

We saw the castle, went on the whiskey tour, and went tartan shopping. None of us bought any tartan things, but oh well. I couldn't find my clan's tartan, though I did buy a Clan Davidson shot glass and later bought a printout of the Sturrock family history.
