So, I read something interesting just a week or two ago which stated that Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens coexisted in parts of the world for a number millennia around 35,000 years ago. The parallels between the Jotunn, Titans, and the Nephilim/Anakim etc of biblical (and Enochian) fame have been a historical and recent interest of mine. (Most recently due to me making an "American Gods" based tabletop game.)
