I participated in a (since broken) group record event once. But it takes rather less skill to be one of a couple thousand people at a Rocky Horror show than to swallow swords. (Though I suspect there was some sword-swallowing of a different sort happening in the crowd at that show. LOL)

What year did you do that?

I wonder if it made the book? They changed the format after the 98 edition.

If, and it's a big if (much like posting on LJ without crashing my computer) we do make it, we would be pretty damn lucky to get in the book still.

The book got changed after the 98 edition to get newer readers. So I'm not even quite sure on if it will be published.
