Recently the local goth night here has ended it's run (about 2 and a half years) after 5 people showed up. Normally the average amount of people there are in between 12 and 18 ( Read more... )

Wallpaper your city with eye catching flyers. It really does work. Make little flyers to put on the counters of your favorite stores. If you have a little cash, you can take out small newspaper ads. Does your newspaper have an arts and leisure section? Sometimes they will put your event in free. Maybe do some sort of drawing for the first few in the door. Just some thoughts...

Hanging posters and putting flyers at local shops, handing out flyers at concerts, and the biggest of all: word of mouth.

look out side the community that is already established. paper the city,,,we have how many colleges paper them.

Have stuff other then just Blaring music. Give a reason for people to spend money.

I had this conversation with Blackman about karioke, before it closed about 3 weeks ago.
