So my school cleaned out all the artwork in the art rooms over x-mas break.... and with it all my paintings from the first semester.  I'm seriously depressed about this.  I think I'm still a bit in shock actually, and when it actually sinks in my brain will break a little.  I just want to throw a chair at ACAD.  Or the douches who thought it'd be

That actually happened to me when I was in high school, I cannot even begin to express how pissed I was over that!

They destroyed your work?! If I were you I would raise some serious cain about that. They'd be regretting even thinking about it by the time I was done.

I was lucky, I was the art teachers favourite (God only knows why) so my stuff was always saved.

I know how you feel :< I had three years worth of art burnt a few months ago because some asshats set fire to our school. It was much worse finding charred and crispy remains of artwork among the debris afterwards, though... People these days have no respect

Hmm, I dunno, are you sure they didn't put it into storage? =o That's what most schools around here do, then if it isn't claimed by a certain time they destroy it.

No. Oh, no. You can't be serious.... oh, man. I'm SO sorry. I understand completely, having had my own work destroyed like that. Oh, man. That stinks. I am so sorry. I hope it never. Ever. Happens again. Your hard work (and your work IS quite amazing) deserves so much better regard than that. Geez, it brings bitter memories back even to me! >_
