On the day I arrived, I hid in my room, even though I could hear the voices of the people I was about to spend the next 11 days with out in the hallway. By the time I left, I was jokingly declaring myself a diva as I asked these people, who I'd become suddenly close to, to clear a space for a performance of a play that I'd written.
