But I'm doing what I should

I have decided to take the Sydney rotation.

Every time I've tried to continue on from this first sentence, I find a blankness. I cannot explain why exactly I'm choosing this - I can only say it feels like something I should do. Something I will regret not doing.

That article on social media reminds me a lot of the stuff Ze Frank says, although he says it with his eyes buggin out and much additional silliness. He's replaying 'the show' at the moment which is all kinds of time-capsule-from-five-years-ago weird, but if you substitute facebook/twitter for his stuff on myspace you get pretty much the same result.

I find QWOP much more fun to watch than play, damn thing is funny as hell especially as the commentary goes from 'this is kind of hard' to 'omg I'm going to murder the creator of this'.

I'm mostly settled in my new place. Smokey loves it here. Great big house to run around in although she's not happy about the lack of window sills to sit in. Once I get more couches and armchairs she'll be happier.

I was giggling so much during that QWOP video - it's so much more fun to watch than play for yourself...

Yay new place! Is it weird living in a big place on your own? My current place just sent me a letter offering to extend my lease for another 12 months. I almost feel sad about leaving, but they're raising the rent any way so I think I'll get over it. :P

See, this is the problem with skim-reading things - I somehow got 'the flaopper helped me fix the toilet' from that, and assumed you were having some kind of sweet Jazz Age adventures.

I don't see how this demonstrates the supposed problem with skim-reading. That interpretation is way more awesome than anything that actually happened.
