I never thought about love when I thought about home

Today was a pretty productive day, though that seems to have become the pattern my weekends have settled into. Rex usually works on the weekend, which is annoying because it'd be nice if he got more shifts during the week instead. So I get stuff done around the house.

'The problem of the exploding bread' sounds like one of those mystery books I read when I was a kid, the ones that got their own shelf in the library with all the similar spines lined up. The bread looks great, rustic. Does the exploding make it unweildy to eat?

Also awesome: Blood Buzz Ohio is a great song. High Violet's a super album. And you have the Wire! I could talk for ages on what I like about that show, but I think I've possibly already done that? The first series does have a few problems like there's too many characters introduced too quickly and a lot of jargon and slang took me ages to get. But I think that makes it more rewarding when everything clicks or rewatching it, something I plan on doing at some point.

It is very unwieldy to eat - I almost want to get store bread just to have something that fits in the toaster! (We have to grill the sourdough when we want toast.)

You and my sister were the ones responsible for making me curious about The Wire. (It's so great - we're four episodes in, and I love it. There are a lot of characters, though, so have to second-guess myself a fair bit until I figure out who they're talking about.)
