It's Over

Just downloaded and read the translation of the final chapter of Hellsing. It just feels so strange knowing that something I have followed for nine years is over. It ended well enough. My only complaint being I would have liked to have seen a little bit on how Seras and Pip were getting along after thirty years. Anyways farewell Hellsing ( Read more... )

Here from hellsing's fl. So did I, but the chapter was focused on Integra and her relationships. Pip was part of Seras' arc. So we wouldn't have known. XD

I am willing to be Seras' no longer a virgin with her shots and good mood (unlikely poor Integra "Penelope" Hellsing waiting THIRTY YEARS).

Poor Integra indeed. I'm certain you're correct about Seras though. Actually one of the things I rather liked about this chapter was her mouthing off to Integra. Which I suppose I can take as evidence of how much Pip has rubbed off on her over the years.

I find HILARIOUS how Seras teased Integra, even dressing as Alucard since that was Integra's preference and offer to drink her blood. But she did so with the best intentions at heart. ;) She even INSISTED if she was a vampire, she wouldn't worry about wrinkles. Wink. Wink.

Seras doesn't want her family fall apart ;_;!

The fact Integra was worried about her wrinkles cracks me up to no end. Really as much as it bothered some I felt Hirano's use of his cracky art style fit the chapter fairly well.

Oh noes I don't want it to be over D:

Actually, that's not true. I've been waiting for resolution for years now. Except I've just been reading the Dark Horse translations. I'm too impatient to wait another year or two though, I'll probably download from after Vol 9 to the end.

It sounds like it ended well though, and I'd much rather it end and end well than continue on forever and not be good anymore.

Maybe Hirano can work on more Young Walter and Girlycard stories now? *sarcastic optimism*

Or maybe he'll just take time off for his "hobbies" XD
