As expected, I received a B on my first history quiz. Sadly, I experienced a momentary feeling of hope when our professor announced that he'd curved the A down one point. By my calculations, I would have an A. Unfortunately, I hadn't seen one of the mistakes that I'd made, and thus I have the same score I'd expected.
