I wasn't expecting this. I didn't check out the warnings so it's completely my own fault. I was just expecting a cute little fluffy moment of John either getting or not getting Sam and Gabriel's relationship and then there was this. And now I'm holding onto my tears by sheer force of will. Because Gabriel's canon death was heart-wrenching and now you add this layer of Sam and Castiel's grief on top of everything and ...I just can't. This was beautiful. I think I need to go hunt down some fluff to delude myself into believing everything is sunshine and rainbows now.

Hope you managed to find some nice fluffy fic to cheer up a bit *grins* believe it or not, this was supposed to be exactly what you were expecting, but it took on a life of it's own lol!
