i got to thinking...

i was reading people's ljs and they are all like "omg im so lonely". whether it was because they were single or thought they have no friends or whatever the case may be...

so why dont all the lonely singles go out and all the lonely people hang out?

i guess i just wish it were that easy huh...

the thing is, and i find myself being just as guilty of this as others, is that when i'm feeling sad and lonely, i use my journal as a tool to gauge how much people actually like me. i don't respond to the lonely complaints in the journals of people i don't like, or aren't that close with. so when i get a bunch of people saying, "oh, lauren, i love you, don't feel that way", it kind of kicks me out of my funk. pretty pathetic, i know, but it works.
